5 strikers Arsenal should sign in January

Despite coming off a two-game winning run, beating Sporting Lisbon 5-1 in the Champions League and thrashing West Ham United 5-2 in the Premier League, Arsenal still need to bring in a top striker if they are to contend for major trophies this year.

Mikel Arteta has the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard at his disposal, but there is no number nine who can score as many goals as the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Olivier Giroud, Robin van Persie and Thierry Henry at the helm. Here are five strikers who could make the Gunners’ title race more exciting if they were to sign them in January.

1. Alexander Isaac

In addition to Arsenal, Isak is also a target for Chelsea and it looks like the Swedish striker is another player who has a chance to leave Newcastle in the January transfer market next year if the Magpies receive the right offer.

At the age of 25, Isak can still develop a lot and with a playing style similar to Thierry Henry, the legendary Arsenal striker, he will definitely be accepted at the Emirates Stadium. Newcastle want a transfer fee of around 80-100 million pounds.

2. Benjamin Sesco

Sesko was initially a target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United last summer and has decided to stay at Leipzig for another year to develop his skills and gain experience as he prepares to move to a higher league. The 21-year-old is a talented and complete forward and, despite scoring just seven goals in 17 games this season, his potential represents a valuable investment for the future.

3. Brian Mbemo

Mbemo has been one of the most prolific attacking players in the สมัคร ufabet Premier League so far, but his performances at mid-tier clubs like Brentford have seen him overlooked and he has not been as widely talked about as his peers at the top level. The

Cameroonian is capable of playing in any position across the front line, which is a huge advantage, and in addition to Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle are also monitoring Mbemo’s situation.

4. Randall Kolo Muani

Arsenal could be looking at Mouhani as the Frenchman is set to leave on loan in January after consistently falling out of favour at PSG and failing to challenge Luis Enrique for a place in the team. The

25-year-old would be a good short-term solution for Arsenal and, if he impresses, could sign on a permanent basis in the future.

5. Liam Delap

Delap, 21, has been in scintillating form for Ipswich this season, scoring six goals in 13 games in all competitions, and has been a key player for the Gunners.

However, Arsenal face a difficult time chasing the England forward’s signature, with the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig and Manchester City, who all have buy-back clauses, reportedly monitoring the situation.
